She is married to Dr. Sam Tioye and they are blessed with four children.  Please meet Fortuna as she shares are vision for the role—

It’s with great joy that I am writing to glorify the name of the Lord for His wonderful deeds. I would like to take this opportunity to express my deep gratitude to the Association of Evangelicals in Africa (AEA) Board for my appointment as Executive Secretary of the Pan-African Christian Women Alliance (PACWA)/Alliance des Femmes

Evangéliques en Afrique (AFEA), the women’s commission of the AEA. It is an honour and a privilege to be given such an opportunity to serve women across the continent. As I take the baton, I stand on the shoulders of those who have preceded me and ask you to pray for me to carry on with the service our Sovereign Lord has called me to accomplish.

Our vision for 2017 and the years to come goes in line with the AEA theme at its 50th Anniversary, The Africa God wants, we say: The African Women God wants! This vision is broken down into three main areas: (i) fostering unity among all African Christian women in the Church in Africa; across cultures, and nations; (ii) engaging women to be committed to the development of their communities at all levels; and (iii) preparing the younger generation, through intentional mentorship and coaching; assure succession and bridge generation gap.

We do hope that by bringing all Evangelical women together, though networking in the regions, establishing and building a strong communication with the evangelical alliances, we will go a long way in recovering PACWA’s visibility and accessibility throughout the Lusophone, Anglophone and Anglophone regions of Africa.

Our prayer is that the Holy Spirit will gather all Pan African women in Africa for holistic transformation of communities they live in. Let us rise up and come together under PACWA to stand up for our families, for our churches and for our nations.

Let’s us say yes to holistic leadership, holistic women empowerment for the transformation of Africa. No woman should be left behind or out. Let’s all contribute to building the church, Christ’s Spouse, Africa our Mother land, let us contribute to building the world.
