BURUNDI EVANGELICAL ALLIANCE – AEA’S NEW NATIONAL EVANGELICAL FELLOWSHIP

The General Secretary of the Association of Evangelicals in Africa (AEA) Dr. Master Matlhaope visited our new National Evangelical Fellowship – Burundi Evangelical Alliance-Yesu ni we nzira, and spent time with the leaders from January 14th to 18th, 2024,  

His arrival was highly expected and was welcomed by the President of Burundi Evangelical Alliance, Rev. Audace Baraduhama, the General Secretary, Edmund Gakiza and other evangelical leaders in the nation.

During his visit, Dr. Master spent this crucial time training the heads of denominations and other church leaders, visiting the children ministry, visiting some member churches in Gatumba, an area that was greatly affected by floods. Later, he also had a meeting with a delegate of the ministry of interior, security and community development.

The leaders shared their sentiments, saying that it was such a joy to receive a such an honorable leader in Burundi Evangelical Alliance, a man of great wisdom and humility.

They added that the evangelical movement in Burundi will not be the same again and they pledged to take the word and work of Christ to the entire Burundi.
