Save the Date: 13th AEA General Assembly | May 22-25, 2025 | Kigali, Rwanda
The13th General Assembly (GA) of the Association of Evangelicals in Africa (AEA) is scheduled for May 22-25, 2025, in Kigali, Rwanda, with arrivals expected on May 21st, 2025.
This pivotal event, held every four years, convenes evangelical leaders from across Africa to focus on the current state and future direction of the evangelicals on the continent. The GA serves as a platform for dialogue and decision-making on critical issues that will shape the church’s agenda for the next four years. Ministries with a pan-African focus leverage this gathering to share their visions, expand networks, and forge meaningful connections with both national and regional alliances.
In addition to AEA’s National Alliances, the event brings together Associate Members, partners, and a broad spectrum of Christian leaders worldwide. It’s an invaluable opportunity for believers to engage in discussions on shared concerns affecting the African church, build partnerships, and connect with local congregations in Rwanda.
Details on the theme and logistical arrangements for the assembly will be released soon.
Highlights of the GA include:
– Plenaries and Workshops covering topics like family and children, church and business, media, gender, conflict, Christian persecutions, faith, and mission
– Official Business Sessions: AEA reports, strategic discussions, board elections, new members, resolutions, and more
(All attendees are welcome to participate in the full program, with non-official representatives observing the business sessions. The focus of the GA is on the mission and growth of the church, with official business occupying a smaller portion of the event.)
