Opportunity for good governance instructors in Africa

AFLAME is a non-profit humanitarian company seeking to contract qualified persons to present a four-week-long professional Good Governance Short Course (one in-person day of instruction per week) to government officials in countries
across sub-Saharan Africa in 2025/2026.
You are invited to apply to be a Good Governance instructor if you:
- Are a committed member of a local Christian church in your country of residence.
- Have citizenship in any one of the following countries: Nigeria, Tanzania, DR Congo, Cameroon, Central African Republic (CAR), & Mozambique.
- Possess a degree in Political Science or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Can speak English in addition to your country’s official language (French in DR Congo, Cameroon & CAR; & Portuguese in Mozambique).
- Support the advancement of democracy & human rights, including freedom of religion or belief (FoRB).
- Are unaffiliated to a political party or political/public office in your country of residence.
- Are available for international travel in November 2024, for a two-day training course, all expenses paid.
- Own a laptop & have reliable, uninterrupted internet access.
Preference will be given to qualified applicants who:
- Have a post-graduate degree in a relevant field.
- Have a record of advocating for good governance or promoting aspects of good governance (human rights, for example) in their own countries &/or elsewhere in Africa.
- Have teaching/facilitation experience in Good Governance or a related subject area.
- Have experience of religious persecution and/or have experience of working with the persecuted Church
