AEA Virtual Staff Retreat

Amid the ongoing global pandemic, the AEA management team this year was forced to adopt new ways of meeting due to the continental travel restrictions and COVID 19 surge in most African countries.

The two-day hybrid meeting (simultaneous in-person and video meeting) was held at the AEA Executive Boardroom on the 5th and 6th of November 2020 with the incoming General Secretary Rev. Dr. Master Mathlaope and other project and commission staff joining from Nigeria, Uganda, and the USA.

The AEA staff team shared their reports, challenges faced as a result of COVID-19, ministry goals, and their achievements in 2020. The AEA General Secretary, Rev. Dr. Aiah Foday-Khabenje, shared a report of his time in AEA and used this planning meeting as an orientation for the incoming General Secretary,  and the new AEA Executive Secretary for Missions, Evangelism and Youth.
