Stepping into 2025: A Call to Shine with Christ’s Light
Dear brothers and Sisters,
Complements of the New Season.
As we close 2024 and begin 2025, what a privilege it is to celebrate the miracle of another year. We journeyed in 2024 under the banner of ‘Arise Africa, for your light has come’ (Isaiah 60:1). We did that together through faith, courage, and purpose. Across the continent, we have seen glimpses of God’s glory in and through His Church, shining brightly through weekly salvation of people in different churches through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, acts of love, transformative ministries, and bold witness for Christ. The theme “Arise and Shine for your light has come”, reminded us that we are a chosen people in Christ, called to dispel darkness and radiate the hope and salvation of our Lord to a world in desperate need of it.
Christ is the light that radiates through us and is the reason we arise, the source of our strength, and the hope for Africa and the world.
As we step in 2025, we extend heartfelt gratitude to the church in Africa, partners, and friends for faithfulness, prayers, and support throughout the year 2024. Together, we have made strides in mobilizing the Church to address critical issues facing our continent and advance the Kingdom of God. From the East to the West, North to the South of Africa, we witnessed transformative power of the gospel, and we have a reason to believe that, He who began a work in and through us, will bring it to perfect completion”.
As we step forward into 2025, let us remain steadfast, unified by love, purpose, and be expectant of greater things to come. Let us keep shining, keep serving, and keep proclaiming that Jesus Christ is the hope for Africa and the world.
From AEA Head Office, We wish you a joyful, productive, peaceful 2025, filled with love, hope, peace and the abiding presence of our Savior.
“Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus”,
(Philippians 1:6).
